I'm A Hitcher Hound

The Hitcher depicts the story of Jim Halsey, He is transporting a car across the country when he stops to pick up a hitchhiker the man known as "Jack Rider" (note the pun). Played by Rutger Hauer the hitcher is a mad man and tries to kill him, after escaping he is endlessly chased by Rider who kills an entire police station just to get to his prey. Since being made in 1986 it has spawned a sequel in 2003 where Rider is recast and played by Jake Busey, and in 2007 Rider is played by Sean Bean in a average remake of the original.
