Halloween was a blast, didn't do much trick 'r treating, went around the block but i mainly went as an escort, had a hell of a time scaring kids and sprinting around the block chasing kids i knew and didn't, changing masks every so often to give them a new fear, i think i gave my fair share of nightmares tonight, the yard looked awesome, with all the decorations we made, we had kids skipping our yard because it was too hardcore for them, many wouldn't even come up on to the deck, for those wanting piccies they are up on my face book (yes i have one but only to kill some time now and then) here is the link, hope all who want to see them can -->Clicky for Piccies<-- Hope you all had a terrifing night.

Quick update on the Participation prizes cause i know you are all eager to find out who will get them, 2 have been announced at the bottom, after the third and final prize has been gave i shall upload the News Article.

So i and my 6 judges have looked at all of the entries, we took in to account the originality, Use of the theme, and skill, needless to say we all had mixed results which gave us a 5 entries fighting for 3 spots, after debating and examining each piece we finally came to a decision, before i let you know who they are (as if you haven't peeked allready lol ) i would like to thank all of you for entering and spending so much time and effort to make this contest a success, and i shall also like to give another big thanks to my friends who donated prizes and helped me organise and judge this competiotion, ok on to the prizes, now me and my 6 have chose the top 3 winners but even if you haven't placed in the top 3 remember there are still 3 participation prizes also that you can win, i shall be noting the donors of those prizes staight after this journal and update you who won those when all have been given, once they have been chosen i will also feature everyone (donors and all)in a news report, thank you all again.

When we all saw this piece we thought "WoW" it was a real contender, not only was the deviation very skillfully done there was also a very good story to go along with it, this entry cause us all to argue slightly as we couldn't decide where it should place, it switched between two others a few times before we decided to award it third place for excellent details both on the paper and in the description. congrats.

No surprise but we unaminously agreed that this entry should win the overall, not only is it a highly creative piece with stunning depth, lighting,etc it was also exactly what we were looking for when we set up this competition, a solid halloween myth that mostly everyone knows but done in a very unique and original way making the myth a new, all six of us scored this piece 10 out of 10 making it the easiest choice in this competition. congrats.
