So it's that time of the year again, where i get a year older and pay homage to my biggest influence in my life.
As most of you know (cause i say it every year) I had a troubled childhood, no father figure, and the thing that helped me tyhrough it was The Crow, mainly the movie at first but later all the graphic novels aswell, Then after finding out that Brandon Lee shared the same birthday with me, it just felt like fate, and since then i have drew a picture of brandon every year to mark the day, and to say thanks to him and james o'barr for helping me through some bad times.
I originally drew this picture for last years birthday, but it didn't strike a big enough impact for me, so i decided this year i would improve on it with some colour, i actually have two versions of this, this one (obviously) and the one below.

I also ran a competition over at #TheMurderOfCrows, the rules, draw brandon lee or the crow and the winner would be featured in my deviation, well we only got one entry so by default, the winner is

I like this picture and by the way cool I won! I thought there would be somebody joining this contest with some super cool digital stuff or something but I guess not.

If this contest was against you I surely would have lost.

thanks bro, i'm a big bruce fan too, i used to watch all his movies when i was a kid, even when i couldn't really read the subtitles, i keep meaning to do a bruce piece sometime too but never get around to it
