Sorry no clever title for this one, Been working on this piece collectively for about a year, not from start to finish but i drew the lines about 12 months ago and then when i have hard spare time now and then i have just added more and more colours to it, for the past two weeks it's been a bit of a therapy for me, it has also been a good piece to learn techniques with my tablet also, the entire background is completely 100% tablet drawn, which is the first time i've done that. As you may notice i have a few little jokes in the back, got Freddy, Jason and thier buddies in Plushie form, including me at the very end, got Buzz, Woody and the lil Alien from the Toy Story franchise, i threw them in there as the kid that owned them was called Andy just like the kid Chucky was after in Child's Play, Andy Barclay, And finally i have some of the most popular puppets and Toys from Puppet Master and Demonic Toys, Two other franchises that focused on killer toys. Was thinking of putting Tiff from the Chucky series in there and possibly Dolly from Dolly Dearest, but i didn't really have the space and was happy with thechoices allready in place.
The image in all its total is surely catchy. The perspective in the foreground is really interesting and add the right mood at the character. The colours are really well chosen (vibrant colours with that "dark touch" to make the illustration chilling) the shading tecnique is really impressive. Also the large variety of details add to this work a pleasant desire to find all the little and skilled quotes hidden in this work like in a horror treasure hunt. This is the memento of your child's fears all in one work! Deliciusly twisted! And you know you love it, because this ain't no child's game
